Agents made it possible for engineers what was reserved for a select few with either fat pockets or niche skills. Agents came as a great equalizer. It allows people with deep domain and technical knowledge to create products at a pace that was never before possible. Even if one of your products finds the right audience, you may find your way to financial freedom.
For reference, here are a few problems that I tried to solve using agents and AI from the beginning of year 2026:
I made an app named Taxly for VAT filing and was able to deploy it in less than 2 weeks. My goal is to launch it by early next year.
I made an app (MCP server) to fetch comments on pull requests in developers' local machines on their VSCode chat terminal. When agents write code, and when agents review code, it is also important that we can also bring in agents to make sense of those review comments and help us ease the review process.
I made SemVer more robust, reliable and readable by creating a GitHub action that integrates Anthropic SDK into a pull request process that bumps up versions or libraries based on the nature of change that is going in the pull request.
I made a test app to grasp and understand the concepts of trunk based development and feature toggles. Goal was to both educate teams on continuous delivery and also increase chances of adoption among developers who were new to the concept.
There are more such solutions, but in this talk, we will walk through a few of these. I hope by doing so, I can inspire you to bring your own unique ideas to reality. Who knows, you may be sitting on a billion dollar idea and this talk helps you to achieve it :)
Importance of looking at old problems with new eyes.
Harnessing the untapped potential of agents.
Realising that we live in an era that is similar to the internet boom but maybe even larger.
Bring your ideas to life. You never know if it may change your life.
