What do I need to run it?

How is a mobile testing agent different from Appium?

Appium is a driver protocol: you write the script, bind every element to a locator, and maintain both as the app changes. The agent takes the objective instead and resolves the path at run time, so a moved button or a renamed label does not fail the check. Appium is still the better fit when you need exact control of a gesture sequence.

Can a mobile testing agent gate a release?

Yes, through the evidence contract. A pass is granted only when the expected state is confirmed, and the process exit code carries the verdict: 0 when the state is verified, 1 on a failed assertion, 2 on an environment error such as a simulator that would not boot, and 3 on a timeout.

How do I test on real iPhones and Android devices?
