When LambdaTest started, the software world was in transition. Teams were ready for automation, but legacy infrastructure slowed everything down. LambdaTest began as an answer to that problem. We did not stop there.

So when our platform evolved, we needed a name that truly represents our AI-first future. And no name fits better than the one our community already loves.

So, the name of LambdaTest is now TestMu AI.

Why LambdaTest is now TestMu AI?

TestMu is not a new name to us.

The name TestMu AI is inspired by and celebrates the TestMu Conference and the incredible people who made it a global phenomenon. Over the past four years, TestMu brought together more than 100,000 quality engineers to discuss how AI would reshape testing, long before those conversations became industry norms. The heart of this movement was to amplify community voices and introduce innovation in quality engineering before it became mainstream.

So when it came time to name this new chapter of our journey, it felt natural to stay true to the spirit of innovation and AI-first thinking that the TestMu Conference pioneered.

TestMu AI reflects our bold path forward into AI while acknowledging the community that served as our foundation. It represents the hard work, innovation, and collective effort behind building the world’s first full-stack Agentic AI Quality Engineering platform.

LambdaTest was the foundation. TestMu AI is the next chapter. This is not a pivot. It is an evolution.

Just like in both the Greek and English alphabets, where Mu (M) comes immediately after Lambda (L), that journey now continues as TestMu AI. The community already knew us as TestMu through the conference. The platform finally caught up to deliver on that vision.
