Of the leadership messages recorded around the rebrand, this is the product one. Mayank Bhola, Co-Founder and Head of Product, spends it on the thing customers actually asked about: what was built on top of the test cloud, and where quality happens now.
The transcript below is lightly cleaned for readability. A second voice narrates parts of the film alongside Mayank; the transcript is presented as continuous rather than split by speaker.
A point worth making before the product detail: TestMu AI is not a different company from LambdaTest, and the two are not competitors. LambdaTest took the name TestMu AI on January 12, 2026. The execution cloud described below is the same one LambdaTest customers were already running on. Nothing in this video describes a migration, because there was not one.
See the TestMu AI vs LambdaTest page for the line-by-line continuity list.
“We’re entering a new era in software quality. A major technology shift is underway: AI agents, not as assistants, but as operators. Quality is moving from automation to autonomy, from running scripts to understanding systems.”
“This is autonomous quality engineering. Deep context, clear intent and continuous learning. Quality that keeps up with software as it changes. This is what TestMu is built for.”
“TestMu is an AI-native quality engineering platform built for a full-stack testing cloud, to accelerate planning, authoring, execution, and failure triage at scale, across all the environments: from public clouds to on-prem deployments, over real devices, desktop browsers, and even agent-driven systems.”
“But the biggest shift is where quality happens. Quality now moves upstream, into the developer workflow. TestMu embeds quality where the actual work starts: planning, coding and review, and not as a step at the end. It connects to your repos, CI, IDE and terminals, and learns from every single change.”
“Inside a pull request, it understands what changed and curates the smallest set that delivers the highest confidence. It flags risks early, highlights coverage gaps, and recommends what to add before the code merges.”
“And our agent-to-agent testing delivers a new paradigm: to test AI agents themselves, not just the apps. You start with specs, requirements, and objectives in natural language. The testing agent turns that intent into evaluations and scenarios, and validates behavior across real-life scenarios and workflows.”
“This creates a repeatable quality gate for agents, so teams can deploy agents at scale with confidence and reliability.”
“And behind all of this, TestMu runs as one continuous loop, where intent becomes quality signals, signals become fast feedback, and feedback becomes clear decisions.”
“Failures are handled the same way. TestMu connects the change context and execution signals to pinpoint the root cause instead of the effects, so teams can fix the right things faster.”
“Developers don’t need more steps or more dashboards. They need autonomous sidekicks that work where they already spend most of their time: their terminals and their IDEs. This is TestMu, the AI-native quality engineering platform.”
For the founding story behind the same change, see Asad Khan’s message on the rebrand, and Jay Singh and Mudit Singh on where the name came from.
