Cross Browser Testing With Selenified & TestMu AI

Abstract

TestMu AI conducted a free webinar around continuous testing in DevOps with Jeffery Payne as our guest, who was welcomed by Mudit Singh, our Co-Founder & Head of Growth.

Jeff is a seasoned software CEO with commercial and government software consulting experience, along with extensive expertise in product development. He is also a frequent keynote speaker at Agile, software development, DevOps, and software security conferences.

He is the Founder and CEO of Coveros, a company that helps organizations accelerate the delivery of secure and reliable software using Agile and DevOps practices.

The webinar was kickstarted by Jeffery, who defined DevOps in a concise manner. He also shared his thoughts on continuous testing, what it stands for, the different phases involved, and the role continuous testing plays in DevOps.

With the basics covered, the discussion moved to the core of the webinar, where the speakers talked about the integration between TestMu AI and Selenified and demonstrated how the two platforms can be leveraged to perform continuous testing in DevOps.

Jeff introduced an open-source, Java-based framework called Selenified, which is an API and UI testing framework. Selenified enables continuous testing in DevOps by offering seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines.

By exposing all Selenium APIs, Selenified also integrates with cloud-based Selenium Grid providers such as TestMu AI. This makes it easier to perform automated browser testing across 3000+ real browsers on a scalable cloud-based infrastructure.

The demonstration was carried out using a sample CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins and was executed on the Selenium Grid offered by TestMu AI.

Mudit Singh, Co-Founder & Head of Growth at TestMu AI, analyzed the test results and shared his expertise while providing an in-depth demo of TestMu AI’s cloud-based automation dashboard.

The webinar concluded with an engaging Q&A session featuring insightful questions around both platforms and continuous testing in DevOps.
